Welcome to St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Addis Ababa. We are a vibrant, multicultural community, celebrating the diversity of God’s people and seeking to live out Christ’s teaching in our varied contexts in and around Ethiopia’s capital city.
Whilst we hold strong Anglican tradition close to our hearts, our doors are wide open to everyone, regardless of their familiarity with Anglicanism or Christianity in general. At St. Matthew’s we aim to foster an environment of learning and growth, where questions are welcomed and journeys of faith are embraced.
St. Matthew’s is not just a place to worship. We are a place where stories come together and intertwine, friendships flourish, and faith is an engaging journey together towards the Lord.
